Double meaning. My poor dear's down with on and off fever again. Oh dear.
He suspects it's dengue. Again. Hmm, could it be from the camp? Bishan Park? Punggol Park?
Last week of freedom and he's quarantined at home...by me. =x
Grandpa's back in hospital. apparently his drainage is getting from bad to worse. Everyone's tired. When will this long haul end?
And my poor poor finger. Hit is sooo many times. *pengz* I think it's broken for good. Can't even clench, can't swim. So now you know why all the sports on my craving* list.
Oh ya, anyone needs tuition? Double math triple science. Maybe I enjoy teaching afterall. A sense of satisfaction when you hear them say "orhhhhhhh.....". Does that sound of enlightenment sound familiar?

Ever tried pitching a tent in the dark. well, that was exactly what we did. luckily we happened not to pitch it over any ants' nest.
Last night's weather was soo warm. or maybe it was just our particular tent. stuffy. didn't help that we left the mosquito coil burning right outside the tent. interesting five-stone game..haha..though my dear sucks at it, it was fun to see the well-coordinated karate kid get his hands flaired in the air cuz he couldn't pass the first point. boo.
and guess what. apparently the tent is not really waterproof? partially waterproof. wahaha. got a lil wet and soggy when therewas a downpour at about 6? and gosh, i slept talked. hmm. embarrassing. *blush*
people, please pitch your tents where there are trees. where there is no grasspatch. Cuz when there is a nice green grass patch, means no one has pitched a tent there b4, means it's probably not a good spot.
We learn something new everyday. The next camp will be better.

I need alot of personal quiet time i realised.
Take today for example. Aunt's sorta moving in for a long stay, cuz of quarrels with grandma.
Good and bad.
Good-She is happier without grandma's nagging and bad treatment.
Good-Mum has company when i'm not around.
Bad-She's overly concerned and asks things over and over again.
Bad-I need to make lotsa changes.
Bad-Not enough peace.
Take for example again. I hate changing in the bathroom. Now that he bf comes sometimes i have to make changes. can't possibly walk all over with a bathrobe, or towel wrapped around me. Result? Wet clothes.(I don't have the habit of drying myself in bathroom, besides it's impossible to dry my hair cuz it's tooo looong.) Result? Increased chances of falling. (Yes, my sense of balance is not very good.)
Ok, i gotta admit, she's nice and stuff..Most of the time. But somehow i don't like the fact that she's no longer a guest but an occupant. Having the key to the house gives her too much liberty. Don't misunderstand. I still love her, other than her habit of throwing underwear in the bathroom sink that repulses me. But friends usually become enemies once they stay together. It's totally different.
Maybe i'm just PMSing. Besides, some stuffs and feelings are not to be publicly revealed. Whatever.

Ever tried being piggy backed from 3rd to 11th storey?
I wanted to walk up but Jady offered. haha. pleasantly surprised. don't misunderstand. it's not because he's not that sweet at other times. but, it's 8 storeys, with a 48.2kg pig? that's no joke.
Well, yes, he piggy backed me. All was fine till the 10th storey.
*kapong!*
ouch! i fell backwards. what bballers might call 'rebound'. haha. he turned at the sharp turn, too near the handgrill. and i knocked my knee against that metal 'safety' grill. sat on the floor, laughing. then i looked behind me and realised that the edge wasn't quite high. *phew* ten storeys up. might have *KAPONGED* downstairs.
Needless to say he was perspiring like mad. a 48.2kg pig on your back. what do you expect?
Little events like these may not seem important to others but it's something i'll treasure.
You might not think twice before piggy-backing me. I might not show it, but do know that deep down, i appreciate that.

guess what. i got rejected today. no it's not what you think. i went to the blood bank at sgh. err no, it's not what you think again. I'm 100% human, not some bloodsucking vampire. Ok, maybe i am, in the inverted comma sense. oh well, that's not the point. anyway, they rejected me. that's the bottom-line.
why? low BP (blood pressure)...107/57. "Please exercise next time before coming." URGH.
My 4th failed attempt. first one cuz i was on antibiotics. second sick. third sick. now..low BP.
know how they measure haemoglobin count? drop your blood into some copper sulphate looking liquid. if it floats it's below the required amount. something to do with density. perhaps the ferritin iron inside the RBC. ok. too scientific.
Sigh.Perhaps my blood is just too precious for donation.
Perhaps.
*faints*
stupid excuse. try harder next time.

I'm glad that along my journey in my christian life i've had people to guide me and pull me back when i backslide. People to provide answers to questions(though not all).
Here is the answer to a question which has long been in my mind.

National University of Singapore. That's where i'll be in 2 months.
Excited about the course. Not exactly the prospects after i graduate but more of learning something new in an organised schedule.
More excited about hostel. Living in hostel is like living overseas locally. You make your own decisions, pack your time, scheduled without travelling time. My dream. Not that i hate travelling. But i'd rather use the time for sth else like sports.
In two months time a new chapter of my life unfolds. A new hope, a new beginning, a new era.
