Time flies. Soon, I will be come a full-fledged pharmacist. Passed my exams, pple! lolz. Not sure why I am still blogging. The important people that I want to meet and keep in contact with, I would say I make an effort to update myself about their lives and vice versa already.
The past 10.5months have had many many ups and downs. Learnt and seen many new things, changed mentalities, matured (not old but matured ok), built some solid friendships, lost afew too.
Something happened recently to a friend's dad. Makes me realise that life is so fragile. really so fragile. One moment you can be happily talking next moment you are bed ridden. it doesnt have to be you. just one family member who kena the tragedy will cause your world to be topsy turvy. the more family members you have, the higher the chance of such topsy turvies. however, the less you have, the more topsy turvy your world will be when such happens because you have no one else to give the moral support that the person needs.
Burnout. What is that? enjoying life too much can be a form of burnout too. physical burnout vs mental. I might be on my way there. so could you or many other people around you. so, always stop to listen. afterall whats life without making a difference in another's?
You do not get what you want all the time. but sometimes not getting what you want forces you out of your comfort zone. trying something new may make you realise that there might be something else better out there. what you initially wanted may not be what you really want afterall, and that because you din get what you thought you wanted, you found something that you liked better. hence, we should learn to go with the flow. fight for things you want, but when you dont get it, let it go. sometimes its better to let life take its course, and thank God for what you are 'accidentally' given. My life has been a good example. Not getting many things I wanted but in the end, discovered many other small things and learnt to appreciate life along the way.
This reminds me of a bible verse i read sooo long ago. i dont even know where it is from now.. jeremiah i think.
'For I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you'
Keep the faith.
