Listened to news. here are some shocking statistics.. 1 in 4 deaths without known cause is a sleep death.which means the person dies in his sleep. apparently a 32 yr old doctor who has a clinic at seng kang died in his sleep, 3 days before his 5th wedding anniversary. sad ya. but look..4 pple died in their sleep in the past month. and i bet many died as myseteriously in the previous months before. how come there was no mention of those deaths? what made a doc's death so special? is his life worth more than the others who died in the same way?
It's not that i don't emphatize with his family. it's really an unfortunate event but from this we can see how society concentrates only on the elite.
this leads me to think what dear always says..what is it at the end of the day? what if one of our loved ones died tomorrow? will we still be proud that we have been busy achieving results instead of spending time with them?
my thinking is this: there must be a limit. it's bad to just slack and enjoy the company of your loved ones. so, the challenge is to accomplish most out of the time you put aside for work. and family, social time cannot be eaten into by work.
easy said. how much is enough? i guess we'll need to go through trial and error. let's try.
i just want to apologise for pushing my darling so hard in the past.
life is fragile.
and pple, watch news. they are gooood for you.
